Largest collection of souvenir plates - The Kundin family began their souvenir plate collection in 1990 in Moscow, Russia when Alexander Kundin bought his first plate while on a trip to Prague. The family moved to the United States in 1994, and Alexander's wife, Irene, and two sons began also collecting plates while living in Stamford. On October 1, 2012, the family's collection was deemed the record holder for largest souvenir plate collection, totaling 621 plates from 120 countries and 5 continents.
